Santa's Scrapblog Rules

Introduction

Thanks for being part of Santa's Scrapblog!

We've put these tools together to help you and your family to celebrate the Holidays together. These rules will help everyone have a great time viewing your Scrapblog.

If you remember these three rules, you are most likely in accordance with the rules (though you should read the whole thing, just to be sure):

1. Keep it clean (this means your language, your music, and your images)
2. Respect copyrights (don't post logos or copyrighted images)
3. Respect others (no libel or defamatory comments or posts)

If you violate these rules, we will remove your Scrapblog from the site. If you continually violate the rules, we will revoke your whole profile.

Full Rules

The following are against the rules and will result in your Scrapblog being removed:

1. Posting insulting, bigoted, hateful, or racially offensive messages
2. Abusive and harassing activity such as flaming (being nasty), spamming (posting duplicate and off-topic messages), and flooding (sending a ridiculous amount of messages just to disrupt normal activity)
3. Advertising or selling anything
4. Impersonating people or faking someone else's identity (verbally and/or visually)
5. Posting or transmitting any software
6. Violating someone else's privacy, including celebs and even people you know
7. Violating copyrights of any kind -- trademarks, logos, cartoon characters (e.g., Mickey Mouse).
8. Threatening violence or the life or well-being of anyone else
9. Writing or talking about performing illegal activities such as child pornography, stalking, sexual assault, fraud, trafficking in obscene or stolen material, drug dealing, theft, and copyright infringement
10. Describing any other illegal things you did or want to do
11. Posting or transmitting any computer virus or other code designed to harm other computers.

If You Violate the Rules

First off, remember that we keep track of violations.

The first time you break any of the first six rules, we'll delete the offending content.

The first time you commit a copyright violation or the second time you break the first six rules, we'll delete the offending content and block you from using the site for 72 hours.

If you keep violating the first seven points, we'll just ban you from the site and delete your profile. Sad.

If you break the other rules, we may take stronger action, in accordance with the law.
